Help Samuel get ABR Therapy!

Ok, we have big news and need your help if you can. There is a therapy developed in Canada that I have been wanting to take Samuel to for over a year. It is a therapy that will help rebuild the facia surrounding his interal organs and in turn rebuild his trunk muscles and strength them so he can eventually sit up independently. It also helps the child gain individual control over each of their limbs. At the current time, Samuel is not making any progress towards ever being able to sit up unsupported. And there is really nothing besides this therapy or possibly stem cells that can help him in that regard. But the cost of the therapy has made it unattainable for us considering insurance won’t pay for it and it requires us to fly to Connecticut and then drive quite a ways to the therapy center from there in order to receive the treatment. Well, after a lot of research and work, I was able to get the flight tickets donated to us. So, now we just have to pay for the therapy (approx. $2,000), a rental car, a place to stay for 9 days and gas. I have found a Ronald McDonald house that we can most likely stay at for $10 a night and we can cover the rental car and gas. But we could use help on the $2,000 for therapy if anyone is willing. I hate asking for donations, but at the same time, this is something that could really benefit Samuel, so I am biting the bullet and doing so.
I’ve added a few things to the site in case anyone is interested in helping fund the ABR treatments. We have been very careful with the funds that were raised for Samuel in the past and have been able to do some great things for him. But those funds are pretty well gone at this point. I will be anxious to hear how the ABR will go for Samuel. I have been thinking about doing a fundraiser for Luke to do some special therapies. I’m just wondering if you have a special account for Samuel? Do you have to pay special taxes on the money you receive? Have you done a fundraiser before? How did you figure out how to use that little ChipIn Box? I hope you don’t mind me asking all these questions.
