Um, where were we?

My last post that actually had to do with our daily life was about Christmas. Ugh, it’s May! We have some catching up to do…

So here’s the quick version…

January was pretty boring as we filled out application after application for colleges and scholarships for Tanner.

February’s biggest event was Tanner being involved in the We the People competition. His class took 1st place in their district and 2nd in state (loosing by only 3 points). It was so fun to watch since most of the questions asked were over my head and all the answers the kids gave definitely were. Listening to them cite cases and quotes to back up their knowledge of our government was pretty humbling!

That same month, I caught cute pictures of Nathan sitting on the side of Samuel’s bed watching TV with him. So cute. Sometimes I find him IN Samuel’s bed ignoring Samuel’s flying arms and legs and simply enjoying being with his brother.

In March, we had to pull Samuel’s two front teeth because they were getting so loose we were afraid he’d aspirate them.

I also got moved that month from being an advisor in our Young Women’s group at church to being secretary of the Relief Society in our ward. Quite the change to say the least! But I’m adjusting. And the coolest thing we probably did in March was attend a book signing by Mitt Romney. We even got to meet Bob Bennett who I actually like and support despite all the opposition towards him in Utah recently. It was a neat evening.

April brought Easter (and 6 inches of snow)! Samuel had to sit in the car during the Easter egg hunt this year because it was just too darn cold to get him out. And then there was a quick trip to Montreal for ABR that I’ll tell you about in my next post. May will have to come in subsequent posts as well.

But at least that bings us closer up to date!

   Teresa, What a fun post. The picture of Nathan chilling with Samuel is PRECIOUS!!! I have some pictures from the cabin I need to send you - like some of the fun ones we did when we were playing (or rather, you were showing me just how neat the lense on the camera really is ) Hope you had a happy birthday - sorry we missed graduation and camping - but I bet y’all didn’t want to get sick! Jon and I had pneumonia.. YUCK!
   Sure had fun with you last month though!
