Samuel’s Wall…

Today is Samuel’s birthday! We’re not doing much because we have a bigger party planned with lots of family in a few weeks. But yesterday, I finally got some things made and hung on his wall and ceiling that I’ve been trying to get done for months. I’m happy with how they turned out.

I like these frames for several reasons. First, they were inexpensive and that’s always a plus! Second, I don’t ever want Samuel’s room to look like a hospital room and these definitely are too cheery for that. Third, I want Samuel involved in life as much as he can be and these pictures show that he does live life and enjoy it just like we do. Fourth, the pictures are mostly pictures I’ve taken and can be easily switched out as we take more. It reminds me how much I love documenting our lives and to DO SO (since I usually get busy and forget :)! And lastly, my favorite quote hangs with them and is a daily reminder to me to let God take the wheel and all will be ok.

I hope you like them! Samuel does and that makes me happy :).

Happy Birthday, my boy! I can’t believe you’re 8! You grow more precious every day…
